We liggen voor op ons schema, maar hebben toch besloten om Lynchburg, Tennessee te laten schieten. Drie en een half uur enkele reis vanuit Atlanta voor alleen een rondleiding: toch niet de moeite waard. En in Atlanta is genoeg te doen.<br \/>\nMaar onderweg doen we eerst nog even een outlet aan. Bij de Levi store scoren we allemaal nieuwe spijkerbroeken voor een prikkie, en verder kijken we wat rond in de verschillende winkels.<br \/>\nNa de middag checken we in bij de Holiday Inn in downtown Atlanta. Het hotel is perfect gelegen, naast het Centennial Park (Olympische Spelen 1996). Ook CNN en the World of Coca Cola zijn op loopafstand. Morgen gaan we bij beide een rondleiding doen.<br \/>\nWe lopen &#8217;s middags door het park, verkennen de buurt en winnen informatie in over wat er allemaal verder te doen is in de stad. Conclusie: hier vermaken we ons wel tot donderdag.<br \/>\nIn Atlanta is ook een Hard Rock Cafe, en die kans laten we niet liggen. Het is een van de mooiere waar we zijn geweest, met memorabilia van veel grootheden, als bijv. B.B. King, John Lee Hooker maar ook Springsteen, Lennon en Elvis. En als The Village People op het scherm verschijnen zingen we, personeel en gasten, YMCA keihard mee.
